KnIETZSCHE – THE WORLD´S SMALLEST PHILOSOPHER
The world is full of mysteries and unanswered questions. Who draws the line between just and unjust? Are there times when a lie is preferable to the truth? Who am “I”? Knietzsche, the world's smallest philosopher, reflects on these questions. A curious observer, in response to tricky questions he always manages to find “Knietzschean” answers; sometimes these are amusing, at other times they're reassuring, they always however are full of wisdom and open to interpretation. With his unusual cast of mind, his world outlook opens up new and innovative perspectives on complex issues. Whether death, truth, fear or friendship, Knietzsche always knows what to say without coming across as a know-it-all.
This year's FilmFestival Cottbus features six episodes from this animated series, all produced by vision X Film- and Fernsehproduktion GmbH.

Anja von Kampen - born in Constance, Germany. She is a director and the head of the Berlin-based vision X film- and television production company. Additionally, she is an inventor, traveler and author of several books. Since 2012 KNIETZSCHE, has been an integral part of the children’s sections of the public television.
