Olena and her boyfriend have just completed a hastily organised journey from the Ukraine to Poland, from where they plan to continue to Sweden and start a new existence free of drugs and full of music. When the couple's passports are stolen, Olena is provided with an opportunity to take a step back and reflect.

Seven episodes, seven boxers: snap-shots covering the course of life, from the first training session at kindergarten and the early featherweight bouts to retirement and the life of a trainer, passing on the skills of the trade with patience and perseverance. All captured with atmospheric footage that doesn't shy from getting up close and personal, both within and outside of the ring.

Two youngsters behave furtively in a hotel room, as they draw the curtains and lay on the bed. The viewer's first reaction, it's going to happen. With the camera in close proximity to the youngsters' expressions the tension grows. What follows however runs contrary to what the opening scenes lead us to expect.

Experienced politician Małgorzata is suddenly called to her son's country house where he has, once again, suffered a drug overdose. Together with her daughter's help she attempts to straighten out the situation. Whilst cleaning up they stumble across spots of blood however, in this reflection on the strength of family ties, courage and a mother under extreme pressure.

Justyna lives together with her mother, a supermarket cashier, in a high-rise residential building. The adolescent girl yearns for recognition and novel experiences, and takes to hanging out with a beautiful neighbour, who with her boyfriend and sports car would appear to have it all. Not everything that glitters is gold however...
