This is how every summer day passes for daughter Wiktoria and her father Maciej. Wiktoria is supposed to become the best Polish tennis player one day and follow in the footsteps of her father's prematurely ended career. The very well-rehearsed father-daughter duo seems to be inseparable. But everything changes abruptly when Igor - an equally young tennis player - becomes part of their tournament journey.
Łukasz Grzegorzek's road movie is more than just a story about adolescent teenagers. His film focuses on difficult father-daughter constellations and unspoken family conflicts, in addition to superbly shot tennis game scenes. The film was awarded the Audience Award in Łódź in 2018 as well as the main prize "U18 Competition Youth Film" at FilmFestival Cottbus and is a laureate of filmPOLSKA 2019.
