VICTIM
Michal Blaško SK, 2022, 90 min.
After the son of Irina, a Ukrainian woman living in the Czech Republic, is attacked and seriously injured, it is clear to the public that only the Roma could have done it. The neighbor's son, also a Roma, is arrested without evidence. A film about racism and a story about the suppression of a guilty conscience in economic emergencies, loosely based on the Brechtian motto "First comes the food, then comes morality".
