In doing so, it skilfully combines auteur film and genre, building bridges between arthouse and commercial cinema. Streaming providers and television channels such as TVN are becoming important players alongside state film funding. This creates new synergies and perspectives for producers and filmmakers, but also a competitive situation with traditional cinema and festivals.
