‘I was delighted to receive the enquiry at the beginning of the year asking if I could imagine taking over the curation of the home section. In January, I completed my extra-occupational training and so it was possible for me to work for the FFC on the side in the future. I am connected to the festival through the impressive film experiences of past years as a guest and the previous collaboration in 2017 as part of the symposium on Sorbian film heritage. After viewing and selecting films and writing catalogue texts, I am now looking forward to the highlight of my work - the festival week. I'm particularly looking forward to the discussions with the Lusatian filmmakers after the film screenings.’
