With the Croatian-Serbian co-production THE UNCLE, the renowned A Film Festival in Karlovy Vary (1.-9.7.2022) is screening a film by a FilmFestival Cottbus award winner:
Ivan Kelava, the Croatian producer of David Kapac's debut film, was awarded the GWFF funding prize for a talented film production student in 2014. One of the main roles in THE UNCLE is played by Serbian acting star Predrag Miki Manojlović. The film is running in the newly created Proxima competition.
