In the category "Out Of Cinema" BO HAI by Dužan Duong is nominated for the Czech Film Critics' Award. The short film was screened at the 27th FilmFestival Cottbus in the U18 Youth Film Competition in the programm Halblang x drei. Dužan Duong also presented his film MAT GOC in the section FOCUS – and Duong won the Cottbus Discovery Script Doctoring Award, a script consulting service for a long feature film by a Script Doctor (value of 2500 euros, sponsored by East-West Film Distribution, Vienna).
A total of twelve films in nine categories now hope for an award from Czech film critics. With BO HAI by Dužan Duong, the category "Out Of Cinema" includes three nominated films – contributions that were created not for cinema, but for television or the Internet and which present the often less visible but diverse Czech audiovisual culture.
The Czech Film Critics' Awards will be presented for the eighth time this year and the winners will be announced on 27 January.
