During the 53rd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) the FilmFestival Cottbus and connecting cottbus invited together with Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg to the East European Brunch.
Programme director Bernd Buder, connecting cottbus director Marjorie Bendeck and Brigitta Manthey (Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg) welcomed established or aspiring filmmakers as well as representatives of the media, politics and culture.
Among the guests were also former FFC award winners such as Jan P. Matuszyński (Best debut film of the 26th FFC with OSTATNIA RODZINA | THE LAST FAMILY), Michal Blaško (winner of the short feature film competition 2017 with ATLANTÍDA, 2003 | ATLANTIS, 2003) or the film team around the winner of the "Cottbus Discovery Script Doctoring Award" Dužan Duong (BO HAI, MAT GOC).
Also the film crews of BROTHERS and DREAM AWAY did not miss the East European Brunch. The films belong to the "Official Selection - Competition" or "Documentary Films - Competition" of the 53rd KVIFF.
