It's the last day of the FFC and the team is exhausted, but also very happy about the great course of the festival. All prizes have been awarded, you can find a list here. You can see the winning film of the Outstanding Individual Performance Award (Iulian Postelnicu), MEN OF DEEDS , at 9 pm in the Stadthalle. (tickets & info)

Managing Director Andreas Stein says: "Our audience and our filmmakers have provided a wonderful atmosphere, the festival has underlined its importance as a platform for intercultural dialogue, the people of Cottbus have turned their home into the capital of Eastern European cinema for a week." At the end, there was another real party at Scandale yesterday! Festival visitors, filmmakers and the festival team met in a relaxed atmosphere and to good music.

The last day of the festival still has a lot to offer! A great children's program has been running in the Stadthalle since 10 a.m. with the world premiere of DIE BADEMEUSEL and the screening of ZITTERNINCHEN. At 3 p.m. the children's program continues with HOW I LEARNED TO FLY and KIDDO (tickets and info).

At 12 noon, there will be a musical highlight in the Stadthalle: the premiere of the Lusatian production WIE KLINGT HEIMAT? with a live performance by the Bürgerchor Hoyerswerda! (Info and tickets).

At 1:30 p.m., SONATA, a sensitive film about a 14-year-old prodigy pianist, will be shown at Weltspiegel. (info & tickets)

A world premiere was celebrated this festival week by the Ukrainian film KINGS OF RAP.  To break out of the confines of their Ukrainian village, the two protagonists want to become rappers. You can see the film today at 18:30 in the Weltspiegel! (Info&Tickets)
