FEDOR'S JOURNEY THROUGH MOSCOW AT THE TURN OF THE XXI CENTURY, winner of the Main Prize of the Short Film Competition 2015, is now available at the online platform "Short of the Week".

The soulfully narrated tale complemented by an absurd sense of humour and wonderful photography, accompanies the headstrong Fedor through today’s Moscow. Fedor temporarily finds home with a hitherto unknown aunt. Whilst the world around them threatens to fall apart at the seams, these two are soon brought together with the help of candy floss and baby teeth. Curious happenings occur, as infatuated lovers fall victim to a mysterious virus and cars drive backwards.

The FFC Short Film Jury 2015 justified its decision to honor the director Aksinya Gog: „The Main Prize goes to a film which shows society and its absurdities through the eyes of a child. It is a film of cinematic beauty who takes the viewer into its abstruse world with a fast-paced but perfectly scripted beginning. Great cinematography, a good use of music and the astonishing performance of all actors made the decision an easy one.”
