We are pleased to introduce this year's International Festival Jury!
The International Festival Jury decides on the awarding of the main prize for the best film (25,000 EUR donated by GWFF), special prize for the best director (7,500 EUR donated by rbb) and the prize for an outstanding individual performance (5,000 EUR donated by Sparkasse Spree-Neiße).
It consists of:
Barbora Námerová (screenwriter). Among other awards and nominations, her first feature film script, "Filthy," won over 20 awards. She is currently working on a historical drama series, "The Red Princess" and writing her third feature film about ballet. She is also represented at this year's FFC with the film NIGHTSIREN in the Spectrum section.
Sabine Gebetsroither (Co-director @crossingeurope). Since November 2021, Gebetsroither has been Co-Festival Director of the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz. Furthermore, she was a member of the Film Commission of the Province of Upper Austria from 2015 to 2021 and has been active for a number of renowned film festivals so far.
Oana Giurgiu (producer, co-founder and co-director Transilvanian Film Festival Cluj-Napoca). Giurgiu produced films by Tudor Giurgiu, Peter Strickland and Cristi Puiu, among others, directed the documentaries ALIYAH DADA (2015) and OCASIONAL SPIES (Transilvania IFF2021). The latter at the FFC in the Spotlight Romania section.
Kasem Hoxha (Festivalmacher)
For eleven years (2010-2020) Soukmanov was program director of the Listapad International Film Festival in Minsk. He is the author of the film magazine Iskusstvo Kino (Film Art), one of the first magazines in Europe specializing in film studies. Since 2021 he has been a member of the Program Advisory Board of the Odesa International Film Festival.

Hoxha can be seen regularly in various cinema and television productions. In the beginning he was used in crime and action movies in the role of villain and gangster, later it changed, you can see him very often in fragile father roles like in love drama BONNIE & BONNIE, cinema comedies like NOT MY DAY, fictions SAVE ME/Amazon-Prime or SKYLINES/Netflix or cinema movie ROHBAU.
