Alina Șerban - Alina Șerban is a director, writer, actress and the founder of the cultural non-profit organization Untold Stories.

As a Roma woman, Alina overcame tremendous hardship, including poverty and discrimination, to become an actress and Romania’s first Roma female theatre and film director. Roma people represent the biggest minority of  Europe and the most discriminated one. For a long time, stories have only depicted us as ‘exotic’ creatures or perpetrators, always at the margins of society.

Her dream is to tell stories about the Roma human experience so that she could build a bridge between the Roma and the non Roma.
