Poland, Sveden, 2020, 105 Min

An influencer in crisis. Radiant blonde hair, slim figure and stylish outfits; Sylwia is a great role model for many. But when she posts a video in which, crying, she confesses her loneliness to her 600,000 followers, the image of the relaxed, cool and eternally fit superwoman crumbles.

It's lonely at the top; the perfection that Sylwia exudes brings not only admiration, but also a certain form of aloofness. The sponsors complain; after all, nobody should associate their products with sad feelings. The family suspects a calculated marketing prank behind the social media self-disclosure. Even old friends seem to have become strangers to her. Still, if nothing else, dog Jackson is still there for her. And as if matters weren't bad enough, a stalker is waiting in front of her door after the walk. Layer by layer a psyche is exposed that has nothing to do with the showbiz of social media and shows us Sylwia as she really is: vulnerable and normal like the rest of us. Always in close proximity to the faces of his protagonists Swedish director Magnus von Horn, who was educated and now works in Poland, succeeds in gaining a glimpse behind the facade of the fitness industry that is pointed and empathetic in equal measure.
